640. Progress is for one who believes in themselves!!!!!

A man who was reading news paper in his garden found a cocoon of a butterfly. He got curious and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through the little hole at the end. The man out of kindness decided to help the butterfly, so he took a pair of scissors and snipped off the remaining bit of the cocoon. The butterfly then emerged easily, but it had a swollen body and small shrunken wings.

The man continued to watch the butterfly and expected that at any moment the wings would enlarge and expand and the butterfly would fly away, but it did not happen so! In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a swollen body and shrunken wings. It never was able to fly.

What the man in his kindness and haste did not understand was that the restricting cocoon and the struggle required for the butterfly to get through the tiny opening were nature's way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly into its wings so that its body would become slim and the wings get the strength to flight once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon.

Nothing on earth is given to man without a bit of struggle which is the nature of life. He is the winner who lets no obstacle prevent him from pursuing the goals he has chosen. We are never weak if we make use of the means which God of Nature has placed in our power properly.

Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need for progress in our life. Normally parents would not like their wards to struggle and try to help them. This help given has a limit and beyond that limit it is their struggle which will take them to new heights. If nature allowed us to go through our life without any struggles, it would cripple us at most delicate times. Progress sometimes comes without struggle also but if we struggle a bit for it, it would be like a pinch of salt added and then success would taste better.......Do you agree????
