Every country is in debt how much ever good its GDP (Gross Domestic Product) is.
Why is it so?
Simply because if there were no debts there were no money as economy of every government is running on debt which is the source of money. And so is the same for every individual who has procured loan from the banks which are running on the deposits (loans) from bigger financial institution. A small debtor depends on a medium debtor who in turn depends on a bigger debtor and bigger debtor and depended on small investors who again happen to be small debtors.
If we looked into the source there is nothing like liability it is just an illusion. Let us take up an analogy to know better:
There was a beautiful seven star hotel in a very busy tourist location and a very huge one and an expensive one too. The hotel had very exclusive suits and so big that a person needed at least half a day to go around the hotel. As usual the hotel had very elite customers. The hotel management decided that the customers who came from other countries had to deposit $1000 to take a look at the hotel to decide if they are to stay at the hotel.
Once a tourist from other country comes to the hotel and keeps $1000 as deposit and goes to have the look of the hotel.
The manager grabs at the money and runs out to his car and drives straight to the grocer with whom his house grocery bill of $1000 was due and hands over the money to him.
The grocer takes the money and goes to the transporter with whom he had an overdue of $1000 for the transportation he had used and pays him.
The transporter had to pay $1000 to the filling station so settles the account with the owner of the filling station.
The owner of the filling station had taken loan from the manger of the seven star hotel and he took his bike and when straight to the seven star hotel and settled his dues by handing over the $1000 bill to the manger.
The hotel manger kept the $1000 in the safe the foreign tourist after surveying the hotel came back and decided to take a room at other hotel and collected back the $1000 left as deposit and left the hotel.
Now who has cleared whose debt??????
This is not a puzzle and there is no twist or mystery in it. In reality all have cleared the debt without their own money. The catch is that the debt was cleared because everyone had the intent to clear the debt once they had money in their hand.
When entire world is under debt one wonders who is clearing debt and how????? Isn’t it just illusion?????
This is how the so called super power country is playing with the economy of the world. U.S prints dollars at will thanks to Bretton Woods System and the third world countries are feeling the heat. We are made accustomed to plastic money and have been encouraged to impulsive buying. We are never let to clear debts like the people in the analogy we are lured to make more debts with credit cards. The comforts of material are given in advance through a plastic card and then made to slog to repay it. A modern day Mayajaal or Maya Bazzar………what say??????
