Not all individuals are wise nor all are foolish at all times. To an ignorant person wisdom and foolishness are characters that are like the sides of a coin. He is wise at sometime and at some other time he behaves like fool as well. To stay in this state is optional but if one need to excel in life it becomes mandatory to be wise always.
To be wise always is not like getting a graduate degree from some university or learning it in a crash course. One can educate a foolish person but for him to become a wise man he has to think and upgrade it all by himself. Wisdom is not got by reading scriptures alone it comes with time, experience, and the keenness to have an open-mind to know about world and people. Gaining wisdom is not a great act by itself; it requires constant sieving to remove the prejudice and partiality that also amass. When such prejudice and partial views are removed we tend to appreciate all cultures. This makes a person to go deep into knowledge gaining and would willingly share with others also.
A Wiseman is never idle and knows his capability as well as capacity. He is not deterred by loss or gain, pleasure or pain, praise or insult and he takes everything with equanimity. He is a person who talks when asked for. He is neither angry nor overjoyed, nor has false prestige, nor has ego. When someone tells him something he takes it with a grain of salt. He does not struggle for objects that are unachievable at the same time do not lament for that which is lost, and never becomes nervous at calamities. He faces everything by maintaining calm and pose. On the other hand an individual who is ignorant of scriptures yet makes an attempt to make other believe that he knows all is a foolish person. Even though he might be in a position to convince some, deep inside him he knows very well that he is bluffing. He is a fool who fails to enjoy that which is already in his hand but is after something that is out of his reach. He is a fool who desires those things for which he does not deserve and forsakes those that has come to him as a fortune.
A fool is one who shoots his mouth even without being asked for. He intentionally or not hurts everyone with his talks. He has the audacity to blame others for any trouble that occurs but at the same time is first to take the honor of a success. A person who lives in his own world and calls it a paradise is a fool. Fool learns in a hard way but justifies by acting as if it was the easiest way. The source of the foolishness is when the mind is tilted towards evil thoughts by selfish and self centered approach.
